“Wisdom comes with the ability to be still” Eckhart Tolle
Your yin yoga practice is an ideal context to check out whether Eckhart is on the money with this!
This evening’s 2-hour workshop will be an exploration of how the practice of mindfulness can be yin yoga’s perfect companion.
We will look at what it means to be ‘mindful’ in the context of our yoga practice: to ‘notice’ what is happening in us or for us at any given time, without addition or suppression, guidance or manipulation.
You will be guided to observe the subtlest changes in your body – registering them in stillness - and will gain insight into how your ability to observe is key to your mindfulness practice.
This workshop is suitable for all students.
Beginners to yin yoga and/or mindfulness are very welcome.
