“Too much fear can weaken our kidneys, but they can also be a source of deep wisdom: when the kidneys work well, we mature gracefully” (Bernie Clark)
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Kidneys are the powerhouse of the body, supplying reserve energy to any organ running low on Qi. Even though the kidneys are associated with the winter season, the long cold spells can leave them a little depleted.
With Spring now upon us this two-hour yin yoga class is ideal for delivering a little extra nurturing and nourishment to your kidneys-through the stimulation of urinary bladder and kidney meridians.
During a sequence of yin yoga poses targeting both of these meridians you will have the perfect opportunity to recharge your internal kidney batteries so you can float home with a renewed ‘spring’ in your step.
This workshop is suitable for all students. Beginners are most welcome.
