This Friday night yin workshop is all about finding deep relaxation in the body as we destress after a busy week. For many of us the Monday-Friday routine can put us in a rather mindless state of ‘auto-pilot’. As we learn to be still with the wide palette of sensations we can feel and observe in our yin yoga practice, we can tune into our body’s ability to unwind and relax, and realise just how helpful long holds are in settling restless energy.
We will include the entire body in our sequence tonight, from the tips of the toes to the top of the head. Stimulating all meridian lines to ensure balance in restored, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking for an opportunity to prepare the body and mind for both a refreshing and restful weekend. And with a bit of luck you will take some nuggets of wisdom away which you can apply to your day-to-day life off your mat too!
This workshop is suitable for everyone, and beginners to yoga are most welcome.
