Functional Yin Foundations (30hrs) is a 3-day immersion for students of Yin who are curious to dive deeper, and are wondering about embarking on the Art of Yin journey.

It offers an introduction to Yin Yoga, Functional Yoga, and the Grace Tempany Method, with plenty of practice opportunities over the 3 days. It can also serve as a mini-retreat for fans of Yin who just want to experience the practice more deeply in their bodies. 

For students completing the 100hr Art of Yin online this Autumn, Functional Yin Foundations (30hrs) offers the possibility of completing the first 3 days in person.

The remaining 70hrs can then be completed over 7 days online (Part 2: Oct 10-12, Part 3: Nov 8-9 and 15-16) 

In 2025, Functional Yin Foundations is offered to students, Yin lovers, and potential Art of Yin trainee teachers in Belfast and Dublin.

Please note that this is not a complete Yin training or a teacher training of any kind, and no certificate will be offered. Should you wish to continue your journey after the initial 3 days, you are welcome to complete parts 2 and 3 online in the Autumn. Upon completion of all three parts (100hrs) you will be awarded the prestigious 100hr Art of Yin certificate - the only 100hr Yin training accredited with a Senior Teacher & Trainer Pro with Yoga Alliance Professionals
